Installation
The Cat C9.3 engine offers comprehensive configurable options and an engine-mounted aftertreatment system for easy installation.
It features a smaller package size compared to other engine platforms without compromising power.
Cost Savings
The 500-hour oil change interval, 5,000-hour DPF ash cleaning interval, and Caterpillar’s patented design without EGR reduce parts and maintenance costs, lowering total ownership cost over the engine life and improving ROI.
The Cat C9.3 engine uses the latest fuel injector technology, reducing total fuel consumption by up to 8% compared to previous engines, benefiting equipment owners.
Reliable Operation
Intake throttle technology manages heat and in-cylinder dosing for smooth, stable DPF regeneration. With the high-pressure common rail fuel system, no cooler is required, making the engine simpler and lighter while delivering 18% more power than previous models. Precision-tuned for quieter and more efficient operation versus prior engines, it helps operators on the job site work safely and focus on their tasks.
